From the southern coast of Sri Lanka to Canary Wharf, Zephyr Ceylon is taking its cocktails on the road.

There’s a little bit of the South Coast heading to Canary Wharf this August. Zephyr Ceylon is teaming up with ISSO – Prawn Crazy, the Colombo-born prawn concept that recently opened its first London restaurant in Canary Wharf, for a two-night bar takeover.

Recognised by Condé Nast Traveller among the 19 best bars in Sri Lanka, Zephyr has made a name for itself with cocktails that look to the island for their ingredients and inspiration. From locally sourced produce to Sri Lankan spirits and spices, the drinks take plenty of their cues from Sri Lanka.

For these two evenings, co-founders Chethaka Wijesekera and Mahen Wijesekera will bring a selection of Zephyr’s cocktails to ISSO. The drinks will be served alongside ISSO’s menu, giving the two teams a chance to share a table on the other side of the world.

The Southside pairs local gin and mint with a house-made cardamom syrup.

Among the drinks being served is the Zephyr Sour, made with cinnamon-infused local arrack, house-made mango triple sec and in-house Lankan bitters. The Southside takes a different direction, pairing local gin and mint with a house-made cardamom syrup.

The rest of the list moves through a Tropical Negroni, made with locally infused rum, pandan-infused vermouth and fat-washed Campari; Jackfruit Brandy, a spirit-forward drink with jackfruit-infused brandy, cinnamon and house-made cocoa bitters; and Mirissa Spice, Zephyr’s spiced take on a Margarita, made with capsicum-infused tequila and house-made chilli bitters.

The takeover runs on 20 and 22 August 2026 from 5pm until the drinks run out. Prior reservations are required.
